“Kimberly is a tremendous resource. She was extremely easy to work with, knowledgeable, collegial and worked well with staff, administration and faculty. Also, she pays exceptional attention to detail and her understanding of SACSCOC standards including how to demonstrate compliance was especially helpful. Kimberly is a skilled writer and very efficient and dependable. I highly recommend her to aid in your accreditation needs. I look forward to our continued work.”

“I have known and worked with Dr. Martin for approximately 16 years and have seen her become the most competent SACSCOC reviewer, liaison, and writer that I have ever known. For our University, Dr. Martin has served as our liaison. When we encountered financial difficulties, she successfully led us back to the good graces of SACSCOC with her leadership and her writing skills. She was our leader. Recently, she has moved into private work, but we have retained her as a consultant for our SACSCOC team. She is currently leading our effort on our Fifth Year Report. Dr. Martin is one of the smartest and most innovative people I have ever met. I hope you will consider her if you need accreditation help.”

“We had 17 issues from our off-site review. The most concerning for me was the institutional effectiveness reporting, which is where we sought Kimberly’s help. Our institutional effectiveness issues were primarily because the on-site team believed our assessment was tied to grades (and they were right). So, with Kimberly’s help, we reworked our IEP summary chart to omit all the narrative below the summary chart and included all pertinent material and new objectives in the chart itself. We also created an assessment course map and rubrics for those courses we are now using for program assessment in each department. We included these along with narrative for all 6 issues from the on-site visit in our Response Report submitted last March. We just got our official notification this month that we have received our accreditation, but still have minor issues on three points to report. None were for institutional effectiveness (thanks to Kimberly’s input regarding our report). So, although we're still not totally in the clear, the three points remaining are easily addressed for the next round, and I think we are totally on track with our assessment and institutional effectiveness reporting.”

“Dr. Martin is a gifted writer who has a thorough understanding of what it takes to meet the accreditation standards for SACSCOC and many program accreditation associations. Dr. Martin and I worked together at Dyersburg State Community College from 2015-2018. During that time Dr. Martin served as institutional liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) and was instrumental in the College gaining a successful decennial reaffirmation of accreditation and approval of a substantive change. Dr. Kimberly Martin is a collegial professional who works exceptionally well with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop outcomes assessment methods to assist with program improvement and accreditation reports.”
