How can I help you?
Maybe you fell into accreditation work because there was nobody else at your institution to take it on. Maybe you feel ready for the challenge, but you want to make sure you’re headed in the right direction. Maybe your office is short-staffed, and you need a temporary support person who already knows how to do the work. Or maybe your institution has experienced accreditation problems, and you need to make sure to get it right this time. Whatever your situation, the way you present your institution to SACSCOC can make all the difference.
As someone who has worked in SACSCOC accreditation for almost 20 years, I’ve seen a lot. I’ve worked with schools of all types (public and private, community colleges to large research institutions) in all places on their compliance journey (from no recommendations from the off-site committee to the last chance to demonstrate compliance before accreditation was revoked).
I can help you write narratives (or entire reports), review and offer comments on your writing, or just review documentation for problem areas (institutional effectiveness or faculty qualifications, anyone?). I am also available to offer advice for site visit preparation. Whatever your accreditation need, I’m here to support you in making the best possible case for compliance for your institution.
How it Works
We’ll start our consulting relationship with a virtual meeting.
You’ll tell me how I can support you in your compliance journey, and I’ll listen and offer a realistic assessment of how I can help. We’ll talk about my rates (I promise, they’re very reasonable!), and when you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send you a copy of my consulting contract.
Scope of Work
Once we’ve agreed upon contract terms, I’ll draft a scope of work agreement that outlines exactly what you’d like me to do to support you, along with deliverables and due dates. When we’ve agreed on the scope of work, we’ll be ready to get started.
Working the Plan
I will begin working according to the parameters set in the scope of work memo, and I will bill your institution according to our contracted terms (usually monthly). You can elect to stop our consulting relationship at any point, but I haven’t had a dissatisfied client yet. (References available upon request.)
